Frog Jumping Jubilee Day is a fun-filled event celebrated on May 19 each year. Maybe not in most communities, but it is a big deal in Angels Camp, California as it links back to Mark Twain’s famous short story, The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County, published in 1865.

I must admit that this post is a leap of faith, but I was running out of time again. Just remember that time spent doing something that you enjoy is not time wasted.

National Frog Jumping Day is on May 13, its origins come from Mark Twain’s first published short story about a betting man and his pet frog  -  named “The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County”.

Some people actually jump frogs on, or around, this date. But, as you might be able to ascertain from the photo, my frog don't hop.
